the need for professionally prepared rehabilitation specialists at the undergraduate and
graduate levels has never been greater.
The Rehabilitation Program at the University of Arizona is committed to
providing the highest quality rehabilitation education and promoting
professional excellence in rehabilitation.
The Rehabilitation Program is located on the beautiful campus of the University of Arizona within the College of Education in the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies (DPS). The Masters level, Rehabilitation Counseling Program, is fully accredited by the Council On Rehabilitation Education (CORE), and is ranked 5th nationally by the U.S. News and World Report 2007.
Our students benefit from our exceptional and nationally recognized faculty, who bring diverse professional backgrounds, research interests and areas of expertise to the educational experience. We encourage our students to participate fully in the wide range of professional, educational, and research opportunities that we offer. Our students also benefit from our strong ties to the local, state, and national rehabilitation community; and our relationships within the University of Arizona and many other University of Arizona schools, colleges, departments, and programs.
